Coming from the eastern facing slopes of the Indian Springs Ranch in Kenwood, this Sauvignon Blanc embraces the morning sun and is shaded by the heat of the day giving it a longer ripening period and a lovely depth of flavor. This Clone 1 Sauvignon Blanc is planted on two different rootstocks, 101-14 and 5C, producing two very different wines. We chose the Clone 1 on 101-14 for its savory notes of pear, apricot, and tropical lycée, with a subtle honeysuckle rounding out the mid-palate.
