2018 Sauvignon Blanc, Indian Springs Ranch

This Sauvignon Blanc embraces the morning sun and is shaded by the heat of the day giving it a longer ripening period and a lovely depth of flavor. This Clone 1 Sauvignon Blanc is planted on two different rootstocks, 101-14 and 5C, producing two very different wines. We chose the Clone 1 on 101-14 for its savory notes of pear, apricot, and tropical lycée, with a subtle honeysuckle rounding out the mid-palate. The Clone 1 on 5C brings out zesty citrus notes and crisp clean acidity as well as minerality from the rocky soils of the hillside vineyard.
