The Wines
Grenache at heart. Sonoma in every direction.
Rhône varieties run through the Hamilton story, led by Grenache and joined by small lots of Syrah, Mourvèdre, GSM, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and other wines shaped by distinctive vineyard sites across Sonoma County.
Some begin with our own vines in Kenwood. Others come from growers and vineyard sites we return to because the fruit gives us something worth chasing. Across the cellar, the goal is simple: expressive wines with freshness, character, and a clear sense of place.

The Hamilton Story
Started in a garage. Rooted in Kenwood.
Greg and Lindsay began making wine in their Berkeley garage in 2011, learning by doing and slowly turning a curiosity into something much bigger.
After moving to Kenwood in 2016 and losing their home in the 2017 Sonoma fires, they chose to keep building. Hamilton Family Wines launched in 2019 with the same make-it-work spirit that started in the garage.
Today, Greg leads the wine direction and vineyard relationships alongside consulting winemaker Jess Wade, while Lindsay shapes the hospitality, events, and details that make Hamilton feel personal rather than programmed.
