Book a hosted Signature Tasting for a relaxed introduction to Hamilton wines and the property. Signature Tastings are often available for walk-ins, but reserving ahead is the best way to secure a tasting, especially on event days.

Come by for a glass or bottle whenever we’re open. No tasting reservation is required, with seating available in the olive grove, on the patio, in the cabanas, or inside our cozy tasting room.

Set out on a guided electric trike tour through vineyard roads, local landmarks, and the quieter side of Kenwood, beginning and ending at Hamilton.
04 · Glass Specials
From 3:30 to 5 pm Thursday through Sunday, select Hamilton wines by the glass start at $10. No ticket or reservation is required, and our regular glass and bottle menu remains available.
The Hamilton Story
Greg and Lindsay began making wine in their Berkeley garage in 2011, learning through curiosity, used equipment, and a willingness to figure things out as they went.
After moving to Kenwood in 2016 and losing their home in the 2017 Sonoma fires, they chose to keep building. Hamilton Family Wines launched in 2019, shaped by resilience, a love of Sonoma, and the belief that wine is best experienced around a shared table.
Today, Greg leads Hamilton’s wine direction and vineyard relationships alongside consulting winemaker Jess Wade. Lindsay leads operations, hospitality, events, and the details that make each visit feel personal rather than programmed.

Gather your group for a hands-on stomp, time for photos, and an abbreviated seated tasting at the private Hamilton estate.
Golden Hour Glass Specials
Thursday through Sunday from 3:30 to 5 pm, select Hamilton wines are offered at special prices by the glass. No ticket or reservation is required.
Choose a seat in the olive grove, cabanas, patio, or cozy tasting room. Our regular glass and bottle menu remains available, along with pantry snacks from the Mercantile and occasional limited bites from the Hamilton kitchen.
Golden Hour is a late-afternoon pricing special, not a hosted tasting or scheduled event. First Fridays at Hamilton are separate monthly events with music and extended hours.

Explore current releases made in small lots from distinctive Sonoma vineyard sites, including bright seasonal bottles, Rhône-inspired reds, and wines recognized across the North Coast.
The Mercantile
Stop in to browse local pantry goods, snacks, Hamilton olive oil, tabletop finds, gifts, and bottles to bring home. Shopping is welcome whenever the tasting room is open, with no tasting required.
We often have farm-fresh eggs from the Hamilton family coop too, which have become a favorite with locals and guests staying nearby.

Stay in Kenwood
The Carriage House is a restored 1900s guest home on Greg and Lindsay’s working vineyard, with room for up to six guests and the best of Kenwood close by.
Two bedrooms, a full kitchen, private hot tub, outdoor dining, and vineyard views give couples, families, and friends room to make a real wine-country weekend of it. A complimentary bottle of Hamilton wine is waiting on arrival.

Private Events in Kenwood
Celebrate in the olive grove, cozy tasting room, patio, cabanas, or at the private Hamilton estate. Each gathering is shaped around the occasion, the guest list, and the way you want the day to feel.

On scheduled first Fridays, join us from 4 to 6 pm for live music, Hamilton wines by the glass and bottle, limited kitchen bites, and no cover. These are special event dates, separate from regular Golden Hour Glass Specials.

Oyster afternoons, brunches, wine dinners, bubbles and caviar, release celebrations, and menus inspired by what belongs on the table right now.

Our annual public Grape Stomp, private harvest experiences, and the lively stretch of the year when grapes, guests, and plenty of purple feet take over.
