Hamilton Family Wines Takes Gold — Three Wins at the 2025 Sunset International Wine Competition

We’re beyond thrilled to share some exciting news from the cellar — Hamilton Family Wines has brought home three Gold Medals from the 2025 Sunset International Wine Competition!

This recognition means so much to us because each of these wines tells a different part of our Sonoma story, from the soils they’re grown in to the people who help bring them to life.

2024 Lyon Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc
Bright, zesty, and refreshingly pure — our Sauvignon Blanc from the organically farmed Lyon Vineyard truly sings of place. Its crisp citrus notes and stony minerality earned it a Gold, and we couldn’t be prouder to see this wine celebrated for the vibrant character we’ve always loved in it.

2024 Rosé of Grenache – Hamilton Family Estate Vineyard
Our estate-grown Rosé of Grenache continues to capture hearts (and medals). Elegant and fruit-driven with just the right whisper of spice, it reflects the beauty of the estate vineyard we’ve nurtured season after season.

2023 GSM – Chalk Hill AVA, Windsor Oaks Vineyard
This Gold Medal winner embodies the art of the blend — Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre in harmony. Rich and structured yet effortlessly drinkable, it’s a wine that reminds us why we fell in love with Rhône varietals in the first place.
